NC State University

NC A&T State University 

NC A&T is a public, high-research activity land-grant university in Greensboro, North Carolina. The institution is a research engine, education center, and economic catalyst serving not only North Carolina, but the nation. With students drawn from nearly every state in the U.S., and six continents around the world, its educational impact is as broad and deep. NC A&T is one of the U.S.’ top-rated historically Black universities and has been the largest Historically Black College/University (HBCU) for seven consecutive years. It is a leading science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) institution that produces more African American engineers and agricultural scientists than any university in the nation. Further, NC A&T is home to the top public HBCU business school in the country.

University of South Florida

USF is a preeminent research and teaching university situated in the vibrant and diverse Tampa Bay region, with campuses in Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Sarasota-Manatee. It was awarded over $535 million in annual research funding in 2020 and its annual economic impact is over $6 billion. The three campuses serve more than 50,000 students pursuing undergraduate, graduate, specialist, and professional degrees across 13 colleges and 200 undergraduate majors, minors, and concentrations, including business, engineering, and USF Health. USF is the fastest-rising university in the U.S., according to U.S. News and World Report’s (U.S. News) 2022 Best Colleges rankings. Over the past 10 years, USF has risen 67 spots among all universities and 48 spots among public universities, more than any other university in the country.

San Diego State University

SDSU is a leading public research university, and a federally-designated Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI), ranked 38th nationally by The Princeton Review for offering students an exceptional return on their tuition investment. Each year, SDSU provides more than 31,000 students with opportunities to participate in an academic curriculum distinguished by direct contact with faculty and an international emphasis that prepares them for a global future. SDSU is the oldest higher education institution in San Diego and is uniquely situated only 30 minutes north of the U.S.-Mexico border on Kumeyaay land. American Indian Mothers, Inc.

American Indian Mothers, Inc. is a non-profit organization founded in 2000 in Red Springs, North Carolina. They are governed by an executive board of indigenous women who provide programs and services using the eight directions of the medicine wheel throughout indigenous communities. This medicine wheel approach is served by a committee of ten individuals with specific related expertise.

University Area Community Development Corporation

University Area CDC is a 501(c) (3) public/private partnership whose mission is children and family development, crime prevention, and commerce growth in Tampa, Florida. Its primary focus is the redevelopment and sustainability of the at-risk areas surrounding the Tampa campus of the University of South Florida. For over 20 years, University Area CDC has championed positive change in the economic, educational and social levels of the community through youth programs, adult education, affordable housing, workforce and resource assistance, and community engagement. As fearless champions of University Area residents, the organization empowers people with the essential tools needed to attain better jobs, better health and better futures for their children.

Imperial Valley Economic Development Corporation

IVEDC is a partnership of private enterprise and local government united by the common vision of expanding and diversifying the economy of Imperial County, California. As Imperial County’s official economic development organization, IVEDC promotes a robust and diversified economy. With the collaboration of strategic alliances and the border community, IVEDC facilitates regional development and stimulates target industries such as agriculture, energy, data centers and aerospace.
